Now that your images are printed the next step is presentation. What material do you need your image mounted to? Laserchrome^® has the materials for your needs. Only the finest materials are used by our trained technicians. If you are unsure what is the best product for your application, we will be happy to assist you.

Gatorboard

Gatorboard or gatorfoam is the finest of the foamboards made. It is a tough lightweight material with a polystyrene core. This along with the patented veneer laminate face gives your graphic enhanced durability and prevents warping. The use of this substrate is recommended for prints to be framed or velcroed to a display. Gatorboard is available in 3/16" and 1/2". Laserchrome^® offers the black face - black core.

Acrylic (Plexiglas) and Lexan

Face Mounting (2nd surface) on clear acrylic material is a must for Laserchrome^® Transparencies when used in light boxes. It is available in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness. For high traffic display applications we suggest front mounting with our 5 mil Crystal overlaminate. This reduces glare and damage to your graphic. For the 1/16" applications, a Lexan material will be used. We also mount to non-glare and hardened surface acrylic.

Sintra

Sintra is a high density very strong expanded PVC vinyl material. Sintra is a rigid material that still offers flexibility. This cost-effective, durable material is often used in displays and wall mountings. The thinner the material the more flexible your graphic. We offer Sintra in 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8"and 1/2". We can produce it with a peel and stick back for direct wall murals.

Flexible Backers

Backers are a key component in rollup graphics. We offer a 5 mil and 10 mil backer that allow you to roll your graphics for shipping and apply with velcro to an exhibit or wall. A 10 mil clear backer is perfect for applying to the back of a transparency for use as a rollup header or backlit graphic. We also offer an adhesive (peel and stick) as well as a premium light blocking backer. Backers are not designed to be folded and should not be rolled smaller than a 12" diameter.

Polycarbonate

15 mil polycarbonate is the most durable and rigid backer. It is clear with a velvet textured surface. Polycarbonate is recommended when greater stiffness is needed in a rollable transparency application. This material is not designed to be folded and should not be rolled smaller than a 15" diameter.
